Hypericum kalmianum (Kalm's St. Johnswort)

This is a low growing compact shrub with brilliant yellow flowers.  It prefers moist soils but works in normal soils as well. A perfect native shrub to replace many lower non-native shrubs as it maintains a nice shape and smaller size.
