Wide-spreading panicles of yellow florets appear beginning in July and bloom into October on this goldenrod. Found in savannas and woodlands, Elm-leaved Goldenrod reaches about three feet in height and does well in mesic to dry-mesic soils. As with all goldenrods, it is beloved by pollinators and many moths use it as a larval host.
