Fossil Anthropoids of the Yale-Cambridge India Expedition of 1935

Pp. 27; 8 full page black-and-white photo-plates of fossil apes.  Stiff gray wrappers, printed in black on the front cover, lg 8vo.  Carnegie Institution of Washington Publication, Number 495.  This small monograph describes the Sivapithecus indicus and Sivapithecus sivalensis species of fossil apes recovered in the Siwalks deposits of northern India.  At one time Ramapithecus was also included in this fauna but that was later proven to be incorrect.  No ownership marks and no signs of use.
