Breaking Off, Renee Kaelber, 2022, mixed media, 16 x 20 in. / 40.64 x 50.8 cm. “Breaking Off” explores how a choice can be made and all of the directions it can lead to. The works lends itself to a timeline breaking into a new era or dimension. Parts of past drawings and woodblock prints were used in combination with layers of acrylic and gel mediums to add depth.
