STRATHMORE: 1935 - First & Tourist classes deck plans w/ photos from 1959

P&O Lines - Two fold-out deck plans from January 1959 covering First and Tourist classes aboard the STRATHMORE. The First Class plan unfolds to 29" by 29".  Five decks are shown in detail.  Besides a portrait of the ship, b&w photos show the Swimming Pool, Nursery, Library and Writing Room, Lounge, Dining Room, a Cabin de-Luxe, a double-berth cabin, and a single-berth cabin.   The Tourist Class plan unfolds to 26" by 29".  Five decks are shown in detail.  Along with a portrait, images show the Dancing Space, Dining Room, Smoking Room, Lounge, Verandah Cafe, Nursery, a two-berth cabin, and a four-berth cabin. The long-popular STRATHMORE was down-graded to one class in 1961 and sold out of the fleet in 1963. Very good condition.
