Dendrobates tinctorius "Azureus"

     Dendrobates tinctorius “Azureus” is a striking blue dart frog that is a staple in the Dart Frog Hobby. Azureus are a medium sized frog reaching a length of around 50mm.      The natural habitat of Azureus is “forest islands” that occur in the Sipaliwini Savannah in the very south of Suriname, and the possibility some populations are located within the borders of Brazil.
