Alpha Flight by John Byrne, Chris Claremont Publisher: Marvel Comics Marvel’s first Canadian super-group, Alpha Flight, is based in Toronto, and features the exploits of Guardian, Sasquatch, Puck, Northstar, and many other innovative super-heroes. Within its pages have come discussions of everything from socialized medicine to gay rights.
