Matching Shapes Activity with printable cards and board.

When printing, print out the shapes on regular copy paper and print the colorful shapes on card stock or vice versa. You can also print both out on cardstock. The children will recognize and learn their shapes by placing the colorful shapes on top of the correct black shape.Suggestions:Once you print out your shape matching board, for extra support/thickness attach another cardstock on the back or attach cardboard, posterboard or any other solid backing. You may even be able to hang the board up on a wall and have the children attach the matching shapes with some form of sticking mechanism like double sided tape or push pin. You can also put the two boards together, ex: top and bottom or side to side and tape it on the back, so it will be one board or put them together without the tape.Don't forget the paper clip, so that you can keep the pieces clamp together or a push pin if you are going to have it hanging up.
