The Arista DCS-7060CX2-32S-R and HPE JH977A are high-performance switches designed for data center environments. The Arista switch offers 32x 100GB QSFP ports, while the HPE switch has 32x 100GB QSFP and additional support for 2x10GB SFP+ connections. Both switches have a switching capacity of up to 6.4 Tbps, ensuring efficient handling of network traffic. With a forwarding rate of approximately 3.3 Bpps (billion packets per second), these switches can easily handle heavy workloads. These devices come equipped with large MAC Address Table sizes - supporting up to 136,000 addresses – allowing for extensive connectivity options within the network.
