Taking the original game created by Alexey Pajitnov as its foundation, this version tacks on some new tricks and features. In additional to the traditional tetramino puzzle piece, which consists of the same colored blocks, players now also have multiminos at their disposal. These special pieces have multiple colors on them and break apart according to the colors when they touch the bottom of the screen, making matches and completing lines where possible.Multiminos are important for another new feature, cascades. When a horizontal line is completed, it vanishes and the blocks above it fall down, possibly causing more lines to be completed, which in turn dissapear and bring more blocks down to possibly complete more lines and so on.A
