Echinacea One in a Melon - Coneflower

We selected Once in a Melon due to it's consistent color and large blooms. 5 to 51/2 inch flowers emerge yellow, but quickly fade to a paler yellow color with hints of cantaloupe. Horizontal pedals and yellow cones provide a consistent blanket of pastel color that makes pinks, purples and blues pop or gives a multi-hue glow to other yellows, oranges or reds. Plants are consistently sized, and flowers are a medium height at 24-26 inches perfect for the middle of a border garden.
