Introduction:      This is our Xtreme Tow® version of the new General Motors 10 Speed 10L80-E Transmission. The coveted Xtreme Tow® series of transmissions is now available for the tumultuous and unpredictable 10L80-E. One thing that should be noted about the GM 10L80-E is that this transmission is a fraternal twin of the Ford 10R80, although Ford is the mastermind behind most of the project.      In fact, this transmissions internal components are largely interchangeable with those of the Ford.
