Open  Pollinated. Annual. Lobularia maritima Annual. 5". An old fashioned spreading plant with tiny fragrant white flowers. Carpet of Snow Alyssum blooms from mid spring until frost. Borders and pots. May stop blooming during extreme hot weather but once it cools down it will begin to bloom again. Be sure to keep watered during this time. Plant in and around the garden and landscape; attracts beneficial insects to the garden. Planting Directions:  Sow seed indoors 6-8 weeks before your last frost.  Plant seed on the surface and lightly press down, in sterile starting mix with a soil temperature of  55°-70°.  Direct sow outdoors in early spring, when soil is still cool.  Transplant outdoors when soil temperatures are 55°-60°, in full sun.  Plant in well prepared soil that has been amended with rich compost or a general garden fertilizer.
