Item Details Used from 1983-1984 on MerCruiser Alpha One 3.8L V6 185hp 4bbl 229CID engine applications. It seems that MerCruiser superseded this number as far as the assembly goes to 84-99510A2 >  84-99510A5 > 84-99510A11 >  84-99510A13 Which was used on 4.3L 262 CID engines (205hp , 175hp) from 1985-1993. If you are using this for that application, please compare the images of this harness to the one you are replacing as it isn't listed a something that is superseded specifically, but based on the numbers and images it seems to be the case, more-so for the late 80's models. Overall acceptable condition, please inspect pictures to get best idea of condition. Cracked Plastic cover for the circuit breaker & solenoid.
