Any 4-cyl MerCruiser models (120 / 140 / 470) from 1983-1990 can safely used a housing stamped 42259 having only the 4-holes, but you do need the 42259-C for V-Engine Applications that require the 5-bolt style (Utilizing the top and bottom 2 bolting locations) Overall good condition, some paint missing in some areas.
