Item Details Removed from a 1985-1986 MerCruiser Sterndrive 470 S/N A681323 If you wish to perform a conversion from a 2-Barrel to a 4-Barrel 470 engine, just note that you need more than just this manifold to complete that kind of conversion... Mainly, you need to have the proper valve cover as well as a remote oil filter adapter elbow and of course a quadrajet carburetor with electric choke and the proper metering rods. Freshwater used part, overall good condition, minor pitting on the mating surface on the outermost edges of the flange where there are holes in the mating gasket to block the water passage (this is normal) This item has had its surfaces have been cleaned up and is ready to be installed. The Part number stamped on this manifold is 98347-C1 which equivalent and the same as 98348A4 found on 1985-1989 4BBL MerCruiser 180hp / 190hp models (See note below for 488 models) This will replace the earlier 488 98348A2 exhaust manifold if you were to replace the valve cover as w
