Developing Instructional Materials for the Classroom

The participants will explore and utilize the philosophical and educational principles fundamental to the effective creation of learning materials to the elementary classroom. The criteria for developing manipulatives as well as various techniques and principals in creating and using these materials will be presented. Thematic units and integrated curricula that will directly enhance, enrich and supplement any content area will also be developed. Please bring your own supplies. Examples; paper, scissors, markers, glue or tape and resource books.   Location: Onsite, Canton High School, Thursdays Framingham State University - 3 Graduate Credits
