Integrating The Visual Arts into Your Curriculum

Even if you don't consider yourself an artist, YOU CAN use art to engage all students, differentiate instruction, and build a vibrant classroom community!   The potential of the visual arts is endless.  Pre K - 12 teachers through this course, will build skills in both art-making and art history discussion so that you can confidently allow your students to express their ideas and knowledge in new ways!  By combining the visual art content presented in this course with your own expertise, you will develop a tool kit of interdisciplinary standards-based lessons, art-making how-tos, and benchmark products.   Location: Online Framingham State University - 3 Graduate Credits
