Vybar 103 is used as an additive in paraffin candles. It's a substitute for stearic acid. Vybar does have other uses. Here are some excerpts from the manufacturer: "Vybars are hyperbranched polymers formed by the polymerization of alpha olefins. The physical properties of these products depend largely on the amount and length of the branching. Vybar polymers are distinctive, not only in the amount of branching, but also because of the length of the branches.
