With regular access to Merlot from Dineen Vineyard, we continue to produce a Bordeaux-style blend. Vineyard owner Pat Dineen came through and delivered just enough to provide this exciting vineyard-designated blend. The Cab and Cab Franc drive the flavor profile with the Merlot adding mid-palate complexity. This is a fine, full-flavored blend from Dineen to enjoy now or with time in a proper cellar. Bottled 8/7/2020 75 cases produced Alcohol 13.70% pH 3.68, TA 5.81 g/L 34% Cabernet Sauvignon (Dineen Vineyard)33% Merlot (Dineen Vineyard)33% Cabernet Franc (Dineen Vineyard) Barrels: This wine was aged 22 months in Export-style barrels of seasoned French oak from Ton. de Jarnac and twice-used French oak from Taransaud and Ton. Vernou. All barrels were supplemented with French oak infusion from Canton Cooperage.
