2018 :Nota Bene Petit Verdot - StoneTree Vineyard : Wahluke Slope

Single-varietal offerings such as Petit Verdot from StoneTree Vineyard give rarer varietals a chance to shine. The Wahluke Slope is a warm location perfectly suited for Petit Verdot. We harvested on 9/29/18 and were rewarded with sumptuous, dark juice and a pleasing floral character. Dark fruits are forward with natural acidity that will pair well with foods and allow for aging in a proper cellar. Special thanks to Tedd Wildman for growing this wonderful Petit Verdot. Bottled 8/7/2020 75 cases produced Alcohol 15.40% pH 3.91, TA 5.93 g/L 100% Petit Verdot (StoneTree Vineyard) Barrels: This wine was aged 22 months in Export-style seasoned French oak barriques Artisan Barrel and Ton. Doreau, and American oak from A & K. All barriques were supplemented with French oak infusion from Canton Cooperage.
