The Skeletal System

The Skeletal System is a 14 page digital printable PDF file. It is a Science Unit Studies lesson on the Skeletal System. This lesson covers the major bones, 6 different functions of the bones, joints and connective tissues, red and yellow bone marrow, and a brief description of bone health and bone diseases. There are 19 questions. Some are essay, some are multiple choice, some are short answer. There is a labelled skeleton with the major bones labelled to memorize and a blank skeleton to test on. There are other pictures and diagrams that explain more closely some of the reading passages.  It is expected that this lesson will last at least a week, as there is a lot of information to learn and memorize. This lesson is adaptable for 4th to 8th grade.
