3M™ Precision Line - Vinyl Knifeless Tape - KTS-PL1 Knifeless tape technology is designed to cut graphic film or other materials without a knife, eliminating the risk of nicks and cuts from a blade on the surface of the vehicle or substrate. Precision Line uses a high-strength, embedded filament with a “sandwich” design for consistent, sharp cuts—ideal for detailed work on chrome, metallic, reflective, dry-erase, and DI-NOC™ films. The carrier tape and filament follow contours and edges smoothly. Film is applied over the tape, and a clean cut is made by pulling the filament through the film.
