Rusty's Crossmembers -Trail Tested Crossmember - 1" Drop

Trail-riding tends to be tough on equipment, and after a few off-road trips in the Rusty's Cherokee, we noticed the transfer case crossmember was beat up pretty badly. The factory piece is made of relatively thin metal and just isn't up to even moderate trails. The Rusty's Trail Tested transfer case crossmember is a direct replacement for the original and is constructed of 1/4" and 3/16" thick steel that is CNC-formed and then welded in a jig for a precision fit. It is pre-drilled to accept Rusty's 231 Transfer Case Skid Plate Part # RA-JS15-XJ. If used in conjunction with our Rusty's 242 Transfer Case Skid Plate Part # RA-JS16-XJ and / or our Rusty's Engine / Tranny Skid Plate Part # RA-JS11-XJ, new holes will have to be drilled. It incorporates a 1" transfer case drop to relieve driveline angles, but there is no loss in ground clearance! It even comes powder coated black for durability and good looks.
