This portrait of W.E.B. Du Bois, one of the founders of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, was taken in May 1919. Du Bois gained national prominence as a leader of a group of black civil rights activists called the Niagara Movement. We've digitally restored this striking portrait and offer print reproductions on both paper and canvas. Our prints are all archival and museum-quality, made in our small studio in Alexandria, Virginia.
