I love this tapenade because it's not an expected flavor you would find in tapenade. It's sweet from the figs and savory and salty from the olives. There is a contrast of flavor that is really satisfying. Use it as an appetizer; serve with crackers, warm bread or cheese. It's a great addition to a charcuterie board.
