Carole Gray-Weihman Fiery Midday Above the Klickitat Oil on Wood Panel 12" x 16" I painted this painting alla prima while participating in the Pacific Northwest Plein Air in 2022. It was a hot afternoon and I was perched on a rock overhang overlooking the Klickitat River. It was such a challenging day of painting, but so rewarding. It's a very memorable place for me and I've painted along this river many times.
