Kip Bradley Isle of Hope Causeway Oil on Wood Panel 12" x 24" Flat brush. Regular and extra-long flat bush cut planes. The sculptor uses a chisel to cut a thing from a series of angled flat surfaces, eventually smoothed round. Other brushes do come into play, but their sprinkled sentiment is dominated by the rhythm and directional cut of the flat brush. I enjoy gliding across the flat panel surface cutting angled planes to build space rather than applying color and using brushes in funny ways to illustrate things. oil on panel, 12"x24" June 11th,2022, 10:25am - 11:45am
