Auntsfield Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand 2023

Auntsfield Estate holds the honor of being Marlborough’s first vineyard and winery, established in 1873. Their single vineyard line of wines are produced from all estate grown grapes. 2023 was an absolutely perfect growing season for most of New Zealand, and Auntsfield takes particular care in the vineyards and cellar to produce a Marlborough Sauv Blanc with fine length, texture, and finish.  Winemaker's Notes: Picked during cool evenings, fermentation at low temperatures with cultured yeast in stainless steel tanks was utilised to retain the fresh varietal aromatics. After fermentation, the wine underwent an extended period of lees contact, adding texture and length to the wine. The result is a hand-crafted wine combining the bright fresh fruit characters with an underlying minerality and fine structure.
