SECO - Thumb-Release Tripod (5218-02)

The SECO Thumb-Release Tripod (5218-02) helps land surveyors easily setup GPS stations and prism poles. Made from lightweight aluminum, the SECO Thumb-Release Tripod is designed to provide a solid base and great portability as an essential piece of equipment for land surveyors, construction, and field crews. The thumb-release clamping mechanism provides surveyors & field crews with a quick and easy method to secure a prism pole to the tripod, in addition to anti-crush protection that helps prevent crushing of the prism pole by over-tightening the clamps. The tripod legs are easy to adjust and grip with twist-locking to adjust the height. The Thumb-Release Tripod uses the same thumb action release and lock mechanism as the popular Thumb-Release Bipod 1-to-1.5 inch (25.4-to-38.1 mm) outside diameter poles thread easily through the open clamp on top The legs (independently) extend to 6 ft (1.8 m) and collapse to 43 in (109 cm) Weighs 6.00 lb (2.60 kg)
