The taste has a medium body with a mild simple syrup sweetness, light caramel and a hint of dark cherries and tart orange citrus. There are mild tannins, and dry oak, as well. White pepper spice grows into the long and increasingly dry finish, but never becomes overbearing. There is also a mild lingering simple syrup sweetness, as well as mild tannins and tart orange citrus. Later on, there is a bit of dry wood. In the end, I am left with a pleasant deep warmth, but a bit of a surprising dryness in my mouth. Bottle
