The War of Liberation: Part II Our latest game presents five battles in Saxony and Silesia August–October 1813. Now in Print! Schwarzenberg with 182,000 men against Napoleon with 155,000, saw a chance to capture Napoleon's main base, breaking the agreed-upon Fabian strategy to avoid the battle with the Emperor in person, known as the Trachenberg plan. BATTLES SIMULATED:The first of the battles, Löwenberg, took place on August 21st, leading to the Battles of Goldberg and the Katzbach, on the 26th. that day was the first day of the Battle of Dresden.
