Kurume Kasuri Kurume kasuri is a kasuri manufactured in the Chikugo region of southern Fukuoka Prefecture. Together with Iyo-kasuri and Bingo-kasuri, it is considered one of the three major kasuri fabrics in Japan. The weaving width is 1 shaku (about 38 cm) and the pattern is expressed by weaving with pre-dyed yarn (kasuri yarn) using a technique called kukuri.
