Felix and Whiz Kid arrived at Oscar’s Place in January 2021 during our first large-scale rescue. Both were gravely ill with respiratory disease and had to be rushed to UC Davis Veterinary Hospital. Their recovery was uncertain, but through it all, they had each other. From the chaotic rescue to the hospital stay, Felix and Whiz Kid never left one another’s side. That bond never faded. Four years later, they are still inseparable. They play together, eat together, and sleep side by side, living proof of what love, care, and friendship can do.
