Floating Melody Necklace by High Strung Studios

Electric guitar string hoop (approximately 1.5" in diameter) with shiny silver beads is finished with silver jewelry wire hung on an 18" stainless steel snake chain. Finished with lobster clasp and 2” extension chain. Made by Jenny Woods of High Strung Studios in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.   My creative world was turned upside down the day I discovered that my old guitar strings were a perfect medium for jewelry design. Having been a musician for many years, I couldn’t believe what a rich trove of possibility had literally been right at my fingertips. The realization that guitar strings could be repurposed for jewelry ignited a spark. In a perfect melding of my love of music and passion for creating, High Strung Studios was born. Since that magical moment in 2010, every day I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to engage in something I am deeply passionate about.
