A Drop of Red

Description      Image measures - 8"W x 8"H x 2"D    Mixed media on panel     In this painting of a cardinal hanging onto a drop of copper, Marie was experimenting with how the glows of the red worked against the copper background. Always ready to challenge the way she paints, Marie was quite pleased with the result.    Painted in acrylic on panel, enhanced with copper leaf.   Presented gallery style, all of Marie's mini icon paintings are wired and ready to hang  or prop on a shelf or table. They work well alone or as a set.
