Bloom III

Description       3"W x 5"H x 1.5"H wood block    The three paintings that make up Dany's 'Bloom Series' personify her love for gesture and flowing lines. They are inspired by the idea of bettering oneself. She demonstrates that people may bloom like flowers, becoming more beautiful and flourishing in character.    Painted in acrylic on wood, this piece is varnished on the front and sides. About    Dany Paragouteva started drawing as soon as she could hold a pencil. She had five solo shows in her hometown of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, by the time she was seven!    Her inspiration came from the fairy tales she read and her subjects emerged from the adventures of her own creation. As an adult, her style still leans into surreal and fantastical worlds she imagined as a youth.    Dany has a BFA in Illustration from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA
