Expedition Appalachia May 16-18 2025

This expedition will take place in the beautiful state of West Virginia . Our group will visit where coal mining began and how it affected the area and what unfortunately what it left behind . Bramwell West Virginia is located along the beautiful Bluestone river . This expedition will take us through some of the most beautiful areas of West Virginia! We will visit an abandoned amusement patk that claims to be haunted , We will tour an underground coal mine in a powered coal cart train . We will also get up close and personal with the ICONIC "bridge" towering over the New River ! Our camping will be festival style in private meadows and with a different location each evening. Our final night will take us to a beautiful meadow with HOT showers and flushing toilets , Woohoo!!! Difficulty level for the off-road sections will be a 5 with "bypasses" . lots of gravel roads and some tarmac in between . There will be no need to bring extra gasoline , plenty of gas stops along our route . LOTS a
