About the Artist: A life-long creative, Caroline has explored various artistic media throughout the years — from charcoal to acrylic, fiber to stoneware, and most everything in between. But through it all, time spent in nature where she could often be found creating aesthetically pleasing but short-lived arrangements of stones, sticks, driftwood, and leaves, was her grounding point. On a mindfulness retreat along the shores of Lake Superior, Caroline discovered her connection to watercolor and the freedom of expression it gave to her in a way that she had only found when artfully arranging materials in their natural environment.
