Welded, chrome-moly alloy steel head is heat treated for optimum durability and hardness and magnetic-particle inspected for hidden defects. Beveled edges at pick and adze allow more efficient penetration and removal. Lightweight and strong aluminum alloy shaft features a durable enamel epoxy powder-coat finish.
