Like Sheaffer, Parker seems to have saved the most interesting celluloids for the entry level pens. I like the materials from the Vacumatic Junior and Sub-Deb lines more than the higher tiered pens. Not that I dislike stacked celluloid. I do think Parker missed out by not making the Shadow Wave celluloid available on more pens. I'm not deeply into Vacumatic model name lore. I get lost quickly. According to ParkerPens.net this is a Junior and this pattern with a  lockdown filler was available only in 1938. I repaired the filler mechanism. The brass knob had come off the aluminum filler tube that has a small split. I've swaged the tube around the knob again and epoxied the knob in place. This will easily reinforce the split from opening and keep the knob in place for the life of the pen. It fills perfectly and the lockdown mechanism operates exactly as it was designed. The nib is wet, smooth and bouncy with a fine+ line. It is not flexible but does offer nice line variation under normal
