1943-5 Carmine Sheaffer Triumph Valiant - fine nib

This is a second generation Triumph. Only second generation pens have a striped celluloid grip section. They are my favorite Triumphs. This pen is in nearly mint condition with minimal signs of use. The transparency, color and clarity of the ink view barrel are very good. There is no plating loss. The nib writes a fine, wet, smooth and luscious line.The filling system has been restored with modern synthetic materials. They will last for decades with an occasional bit of silicone grease applied to the filler rod. The filler restoration is guaranteed for at least one year.
