Pre-1986 Montblanc 146 - fine nib

Pre-1986 Montblanc 146 - fine nib Is there a more iconic pen than the Montblanc 14x series that is still in production? And this one is so much nicer than the modern version. The clip ring is stamped W. Germany. It has a soft, bouncy 14K nib that reminds me of my favorite Sheaffer Feather Touch 5. That luscious nib is supplied with a split ebonite feed. The piston collar and threads are brass. The ink window is perfectly clean and clear gray as when new. The pen has been in my collection for a couple of years. When I got it I disassembled, clean, polished and lubed it. It truly is in like-new condition. There is no blemish in the "Precious Resin", no plating loss and no other defect.
