Commiphora lamii Madagascar | 5 UNROOTED CUTTINGS | Myrrha tree Bonsai
Larger growing species from Madagascar. Our stock trees grow very prostrate - low windswept look. Beautiful deeply lobed leaves with pink petioles occasionally. Peeling yellow bark reveals green trunk. Uncommon species. Can be kept smaller for staging. Deciduous. SET OF 5 UNROOTED CUTTINGS, each at least 6" long. Pretreated with fungicide and rooting hormone. Do not let them rest or dry out further - pot them up right away in perlite and don't allow them to dry out. Fairly easy to root! Dormancy: This plant is winter deciduous. If you purchase this plant in the late fall/winter/early spring, it will not have leaves. As it starts to warm up, you can water more frequently to encourage it to start growing new leaves. Even during spring/summer/early fall, this plant may still drop leaves in transit. This is normal and expected. When plants are put in a stressful situation, which includes being bare rooted and put in a dark box for a few days, it is going to conserve as much energy as it
