The native range of this species is W. Tropical Africa to Gabon. Sometimes referred to as the Candle Plant. Grows into a small shrub with woody stems and interesting leaves with occasional apical teeth at the tips. Greenish yellow cyathia separate this species from Euphorbia unispina.
