This beautiful native shrub has shiny, evergreen leaves and outstanding white flowers. The long filaments or anthers on the flowers remind me of the starburst shape of some rhododendron or azalea flowers. The overall shape of the shrub is a wonderful pyramidal shape achieved without pruning! This is an excellent choice for coastal landscapes as it is salt and wind tolerant.  Larval host for the Florida White Butterfly. These are seedlings in 4" pots, shipped in careful wrapping. Local pickup available, too!   Family: Brassicaceae (Mustard, cabbage or crucifer family)Native range: Coastal counties from Brevard to Pinellas to the KeysLifespan: PerennialSoil: Dry to moist, well-drained sandy or calcareous soilsExposure: Full sun to partial shadeGrowth habit: 6–15’ tall, 6–10’ wideFlorida regions of landscape suitability: Central, South
