Pachypodium horombense is another true caudex forming Pachypodium. P. horombense resembles P. rosulatum in reference to the vegetation, but not the flowers. Flowers are lemon yellow, five chambered bells that grow on high stalks above the caudex. This is one of the largest flowering species in the group of true caudex forming pachypodium and highly collectible.
