This is a limited edition of 200 A Lange & Söhne timepiece with an extraordinary face on a platinum case. Years in development, this model has a totally unique digital jumping hour/minute mechanism with two window apertures for the hour and minutes at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions. A recessed silver running constant small seconds subsidiary dial is at 6 o'clock, with black Arabic numerals and markers, and a white gold indicator hand with a diamond-shaped counter balance. It includes a 36-hour arched railway-style up/down power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock, and the 12.9 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk 140.025 has a mechanical manual winding A.Lange & Sohne Caliber L043.1 movement. It's rhodium-plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 68 jewels, 415 components, and a shock absorber mechanism.
