Noted Muscadet grower Fred Niger could have sat on his laurels—or rather his lees. Instead, the lauded Loire producers has initiated a series of projects based on the same organic & biodynamic practices he has been using for decades. His Nobis Syrah is sourced from just outside Chateauneuf-du-Pape in the Southern Rhone in all the good ways: de-stemmed, gravity fed, wild yeast fermentation, no sulfur, fining nor filtration. Just a gulpable red that the winemaker describes as perfect with charcuterie and frites!
