Handmade Quilt String Block Technique Home Decor

Patchwork String Block Scrap Fabric Quilt55" x 55"This scrappy quilt was made using fabrics in turquoise, aqua, and teal colors. I used a variety of different fabrics to give this quilt the scrap look. The block is called a string block technique. This quilt would look great in many places such as over a sofa, the end of a bed, or as a wall quilt. This quilt would be a wonderful gift for a housewarming, birthday, anniversary, or even for yourself.This quilt is 55" wide by 55" in length. The fabric is 100% cotton. The batting I used was Hobbs Tuscany 100% cotton. Using a cotton thread I quilted a variety of stitches to enhance the quilt. The binding was machine-stitched to the front and then hand-stitched to the back to finish.To care for this quilt machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water, then tumble dry on low heat or air dry.
